Application Areas
Manufacturing Process
A meticulous manufacturing process is followed for our range of PVC agriculture pipes, right from raw material selection through final inspection and packaging.
-
Raw Material Preparation:
The raw materials and chemicals are fed into a high-speed mixer by an automatic SCADA system, using a pre-set recipe. Once the mixture reaches the designated temperature, the compounded material is released into a cooling chamber.
-
Extruder Loading:
The cooled compound is transferred to the extruder hopper for processing.
-
Material Melting:
Inside the extruder barrel, the material is heated to around 180°C through a combination of load (melt pressure) and friction in the twin-screw system.
-
Pipe Formation:
The melted material is pushed through a die-head (spider), where it is shaped into pipes.
-
Sizing and Cooling:
The formed pipes are calibrated to the correct size in a vacuum sizing tank and cooled using a water spray tank.
-
Final Processing:
At the end of the production line, pipes are printed, cut to length, and socketed. Each pipe undergoes online inspection and testing to ensure compliance with standards, followed by additional processing (threading and slotting) as required.
-
Quality Assurance:
A final inspection by the Quality Assurance team ensures that all products meet quality standards before being dispatched as finished goods.
